  • Typical mom story

    I made a site that I’m quite proud of, an adventure through San Francisco. And my kid asks to read it, and since I’m quite proud of it I pull up a short biography of Agoston Haraszthy. And he reads it with the world’s most stoic poker face. Revolution? Wolves? Gosh-darned crocodiles? Not a lash……

  • He aikāne, he pūnana na ke onaona

    Here is an incredibly lovely cartoon (jellyfish! love! waterfalls!). I’m especially happy that I found it because it enriches my headcanon of Victoria Goddard’s Lays of the Hearth Fire, but also because I’ve always hated The Great Selkie of Sule Skerry, beautiful as it is.
